Peter Yolles is the Founder and a Managing Partner at Echo River Capital, a venture capital firm launched in 2021 that invests in software-enabled water and wastewater technologies aimed at health, environmental sustainability, and climate resilience. A seasoned venture-backed entrepreneur, Peter co-founded WaterSmart Software (acquired in 2020), which grew to serve 200+ utilities and 20 million people with data-driven water conservation solutions. Prior to Echo River, he held roles at GE Capital, Environmental Defense Fund, The Nature Conservancy, and Western Water Company. Peter holds an MBA and a Master’s in Water Science, Management & Policy from Yale, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
